ICE Marine is recognised for the Bladerunner boat series, which broke the Round Britain World Record by 3.5 hours and remains the holder of this record today. Additionally, they also constructed the vessel used by David Beckham to travel to the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony, as part of the torch’s 8000-mile journey
DISCOVERY
ICE Marine approached ZENTA Digital to address unresolved website problems that had been ignored by their previous web design agency. Additionally, they sought our suggestions for other enhancements to enhance the appearance, functionality, and performance of the website.
After conducting an analysis of the website’s issues, brainstorming new concepts, and devising a launch strategy for the new Santoku boat range, we reached a consensus on initial plans and began implementation.
THE PAGE BUILDER
ICE Marine desired to integrate a page builder into their current website for the purpose of making future modifications with ease, that in turn, reduces ongoing agency expenses and simplifies the adjustment process. Rather than completely revamping the website, we decided it would be more efficient to reconstruct certain web pages with this newly installed page builder.
For this specific occasion, we chose the Elementor builder as it gave us maximum design adn development flexibility and allowed us to easy use alongside the existing website.
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT
ICE Marines’s new website has some amazing new features that where originally requested by the ICE Marine team but also a few that we proposed. We where also requested to add the boat logos as page titles, which sat nicely across the website.
Newly created areas consist of detailed boat photos/renders, option boxes allowing visitors to view Key Info, Specification, Gallery, and an option to add boat floor plans.
ON-GOING SUPPORT
The ICE Marine website was launched successfully in the beginning of 2022, meeting the goals outlined in our initial meetings and remaining within budget.
The SANTOKU line was effectively advertised through the new website, solidifying ICE Marine’s reputation as a leading powerboat designer and manufacturer for over 30 years.
We continue to maintain the website by providing hosting, monitoring, and updates to ensure maximum security and provide a monthly report on the website’s performance to give the client a clear understanding of how their investment is performing.
